"These unhappy times call for…plans…that build from the bottom up and not from the top down, that put our faith once more in the forgotten man at the bottom of the economic pyramid."

From a wall in Washington D.C.

Industrializations Promise

"Industrialization united 19th Century America with the promise of more – more money, more goods, more leisure, more possibilities   But it also divided the country. The gulf between the owners and managers of industrial enterprises and the many people who toiled in the factories widened throughout the century. Industrialists and laborers lived and socialized apart. Debates over employee’s rights and manager’s prerogatives turned into bitter struggles that even a shared pride in work and achievement could not lay to rest.
Industrialization delivered its promise of abundance but it also led to a question that remains with us today: How should the wealth that result from the combined effort of so many be distributed?"

When a person becomes a new member in the work force they bring little to no experience into the system, they have to be taught, they are carried by the more experienced people. It is hoped that in time these inexperienced newbie’s will learn and be contributing members in the work force, where they too will carry less experienced members of society.
As we age and our bodies start breaking down, we will not reach as high or move as fast, some will not be able to grasp technological changes that are whizzing all around, does that mean we should toss out the older experienced individuals; we will again have to be carried by those in the middle.
What happens when those in the middle, the ones society hinges on, don’t want to teach or help those below, or support those who are aged, less stable?
What happens when life becomes a free-for-all, no one helping anyone else, a dog eat dog situation?
  Civilization decays.
When people refuse to work together for the betterment of the whole, collapse occurs.
If you are in the Military the ranks are broken, the lines fold, death occurs.
If you are a Wall Street Mogul, people are treated with indifference, just another commodity, companies are bought, sold, exported to maximize profits, the ranks are broken, lines fold, death occurs.

NO COUNTRY, HOWEVER RICH,CAN AFFORD THE WASTE OF ITS HUMAN RESOURCES. DEMORALIZATION CAUSED BY VAST UNEMPLOYMENT IS OUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE. MORALLY, IT IS THE GREATEST MENACE TO OUR SOCIAL ORDER

The decline of civility brings about the death of civilization, human life becomes worth so much less; is the Moneyed Mogul or Elitist really worth more than the Veteran.
  What happens when collapse occurs!
In China the intellectuals were executed.
In Russia the aristocracy was eliminated.
The Jews were blamed for the financial collapse of Germany after World War I and therefore purged.
The French Revolutionaries did not want cake they wanted the heads of those that had made their lives so miserable.
  When collapse occurs death follows.
The Love of Money and Power kills, greedy people are no different than bullies. When the bully on the playground or in the sandbox refuses to play nice and no one teaches sharing and caring a jerk is turned loose on society.
Society can not survive when bullies and jerks are left unchecked to traumatize the masses.
I remember reading that during Hitler’s reign of terror he had a unit that decapitated people and stuck their heads on poles as a form of intimidation (which worked rather well) and what finally put an end to this form of brutality was American Forces hunting the members of said unit and returning the favor by sticking their heads on poles. The bullies in Hitler’s unit did not like seeing their buddies head on a stick and the practice was stopped.
Wall Street’s greed and the do as I say; I know what is best for you attitude of the Elitist must be stopped or society will again collapse.
When those in the middle can not, will not or do not help those younger and needing guidance and those older and also needing help and protection from greed and bulling the burden of carrying others is dropped for survival of the fittest. Restoring order is much more difficult when bullies and tyrants are in charge.
Will people work together or shall we fall separately. If the bullies and tyrants are not stopped whose head is next on the pole.

Amputations by ax are the tools of terror

As all Veterans should know and hopefully others have learned also
Some days you do the carrying and some days others carry you.

IF WE WISH TO MAKE DEMOCRACY PERMANENT IN THIS COUNTRY
LET US ABIDE BY THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES LAID DOWN IN THE CONSTITUTION
LET US SEE THAT THE STATE IS THE SERVANT OF ITS PEOPLE
AND
THAT THE PEOPLE ARE NOT THE SERVANTS OF THE STATE

To the Elephants and the Asses
What did President George Washington Say

The Greedy Bankers at Goldman Sacks brag about their greed and the CEO considers himself to be doing “GOD’s work”.

It would appear that Wall Street has declared economic warfare against the people of the United States of America and the Founding Fathers idea of “common good”.
The term "common good" has now been demonized to mean socialism. How can having all people, rich and poor contributing to make a stronger society and country be socialism.

Tyranny is legal when tyrants make the rules
Lets get the blame right

The Trickle Down theory of economics does not work. The reason being, nobody bothered to account for that most basic of human nature, greed.
Most people when left to their basic instincts are greedy and have to be taught to share, the only way to stop greed in a capitalistic society is to tax those who refuse to share. Is there anybody really worth a billion dollars a year? Is there anyone worth 100 million dollars a year? Is there anyone worth 10 million dollars a year? NO, NO, and NO.
I found long ago everyone is expendable, everyone is replaceable; if confused, graveyards the world over are filled with irreplaceable and unexpendable individuals.
A simple solution would be for society to cap what individuals can earn and anything above the cap (say $1 million a year net) would be taxed at 100%. (at least until our debts are paid off).

From 1940 through 1963 the highest tax rate was over 80 percent going as high as 94 percent.

Because nobody wants to be taxed at 100%, those people, instead of giving their money to the government would (and have in the past) use their excess wages to build factories and hire others; right now the only incentive the greedy people have is to exploit others to maximize profits. (That is what Wall Street is all about, maximizing profits!)
Being taxed at 100% of wages after $1,000,000 gives them (the greedy people and Special Interest Groups) incentive to invest in the future of America.
The term "common good" has now been demonized to mean socialism. How can having all people, rich and poor contributing to make a stronger society and country be socialism.
The men and women coming back from all of our foreign skirmishes -- Iraq and Afghanistan being the latest ones -- should have a chance at a decent job and the ability to make a decent wage.
19,980 people could have $50,000 a year jobs if just 1 person who made a billion dollars was capped at a $1 million wage package. (The greed of HMOs, Hedge Funds, Insurance and Bank Executives and Lawyers, Lobbyists just to name a few, is destroying the American dream.)

Most of the people of the United States (approximately 70% of us) could be looked upon as the Sensible center, but, what is ripping U.S. apart is both of the political parties have been hijacked by the fringes on the ends. The Democrats appears to have been hijacked by the GLBT (gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders) along with the ACLU (Anti-Christian Legal Union), while the Neo-Cons appear to have used the religious self righteous to hijacked the Republican party.
One has to wonder if the people who refer to themselves as Republicans really want to be known as warmongering, Greedy Ol People. It’s been stated again, most recently by the crowd that refers to itself as God's Own Party, you are either with us or against us. I am continually amazed at how tightly the Religious- Right embraces some serious hypocrites. I understand that people make mistakes, nobody’s perfect, but come-on, when individuals or groups are wallowing in hypocrisy it is difficult to believe what they say or do.

Chicken shit refers to behavior that makes life worse than it need be: petty harassment of the weak by the strong; open scrimmage for power and authority and prestige… insistence on the letter rather than the spirit of the law. Chicken shit is so called –- instead of horse - or bull - or elephant shit -- because it is small minded and ignoble and takes the trivial, seriously.

My hope is that this time, those that are motivated by greed catch on before blood rolls down the streets because the unfettered greed of capitalism is every bit as dangerous as communism and fascism; if not stopped in time and economic disparities are left unchecked, hunger and starvation follows, in desperation the backlash is anarchy which brings about war from which change will occur.
“If the American people ever allow private banks (The FEDERAL RESERVE BANK is a consortium of private banks, don't trust me, look it up) to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks...will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."
President Thomas Jefferson
In the early 1900’s after World War I the banking establishment had its foot on the throat of the German people, financially strangling the country; Hitler {make no mistake what Hitler did in starting World War II and the subsequence slaughtering of millions was evil} gave the people hope, a chance to rebuild.
Never forget the roll that the banking establishment had in creating the environment that allowed Hitler to rise to power.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of a nation that is
bankrupt and dying.
Not just financially in this sea of red ink but morally as well.
And to the republic for which it once stood.
Has our sovereignty been signed away?
(Read Article 6 paragraph 2 of Your Constitution)
Which has forsaken God.
Injustice, greed, lies, debauchery.
Is divisible with special interest groups.
Over 30,000,000 laws.
How many are pay-offs to special interest groups?
And miscarriages of justice for all.
Unfortunately when laws are not enforced equally on all people
justice becomes a joke.
